    I ran a report through SEM rush and it came back with 174 toxic links ( score 100-60). I have been reading mixed reviews about what to do. Most of the websites are not relevant and appear to be linking to the images. Should I disavow these links? Would it help SEO? Or should I leave it be?

    I purchased a domain few months back. At the time of registration, I didn't knew it was a domain that is previously used by someone. When I started adding content to my website, I realized its DA was already 9, after adding some content and sharing it on my social handles, I got a few links and my DA increased to 18, but since last week I am noticing a weird behavior in MozBar. Everyday I see a different DA, sometimes it gets better while sometimes its as low as 10. Can anyone check my site and see if there is something with my website or is it normal.     Hi everyone! One of our clients has a competitor who has an international reach with their website. Their hreflang goes from Brazil, German, US, China, etc. We found that the Chinese site (.cn) sends over 900,000+ backlinks to the main US site (.com). The hreflang for the site has the .com US version of the site as the canonical. So my question is - does our competitor get any link equity from the 900,000 links they are getting from their Chinese (.cn) version of the site? My initial thought is that because they are marked up with hreflang and canonical tags, those 900,000+ links wouldn't' have any equity? Would love some thoughts/guidance on what others think.

    It's surely black hat tactics. How do they get away with this? The website has zero content beyond light brochureware.

    Hi there, If I put download pages and thank you pages on my blog, will it harm the SEO rankings? As these pages will be pretty thin and will have no links to them internally for obvious reasons, it has me concerned about the effect it could have on my blog. I want to build my blog up to drive traffic, so it's not just a case of throwing the pages up. What is the best solution? No index the pages -- will that be enough? Warm regards Colin

    When I create a website for my clients, I always put our website link in the footer of the description, just to say 'powered by ieatdoorframes' with a link to our website. On SEMrush, its showing as a negative backlink with the reason 'compound', suggesting its a 'money term'. I add this link as I've had success getting new work from clients who like the site we built. I'm new to these terminologies and wondering what I should do?

    Hi all, i own a small business in an extremely competitive marketplace. I have also educated myself greatly about seo over the past 3 years and currently do my own. The one thing I cannot figure out, for the life of me, is how my two competitors keep beating me in rankings without backlinks. I mean, I have about 3K solid backlinks, mostly do follow, from top notch publications, sites, citations ect. In ahref, it shows that he has almost no backlinks. I cannot crack th third spot, but they dominate with zero backlinks, and the domains are only a bit older than mine. Thoughts on this?

    Let's say I want to write a guest post for a website that is relevant to my website. Should i guest post on a website with high traffic but the traffic country is not mine? (eg// My website sells products in Canada only, should i guest post on a high traffic site from India?) Or would it be better to find a lower traffic website to guest post on but their organic traffic comes from Canada? Thanks!

    I am not sure about the way Moz rank websites but sometimes I think it's a bit confusing. As an example, it kept changing in 3 days by going up and down.     Hi friends. I noticed that moz.com does not see some important incoming links. I added them to link tracking list but no result? for example from domain delfi.lv we receive two types of links One no follow and moz seas it. and other do follow and moz does not counts it and do not see it. https://www.delfi.lv/bizness/komerczinas/kravu-parvadajumi-ar-temperaturas-rezimu-lielakie-izaicinajumi.d?id=52924741 and there is few more like this but important and strong. kravu pārvadājumi Could you explain why is this happening.     Hey, I am wondering to know the key metrics which MOZ considers before giving a blog of DA 50+. I have tried to search but couldn't find the best answers so was wondering how it's achieved. For example a site named "SportsALA" have a DA of 20 but i see they have links from many sites. I have checked other sites as well for example and they have less RDs but still had higher DA. Can anyone help me to explain Moz DA 2.0 factors a bit more. Thanks

    This one is stumping me - a site I'm working on has decided to nofollow all of their outbound links to LinkedIn, YouTube, Twitter and Facebook. I can't find a reason for doing that...I think it's from the old and mistaken suspicion that this would deliver link equity away from the site. Everything I've read says that there's no downside to dofollow outbound links as long as they are to legit sites and on the up-and-up (e.g., not overly link-trading with another site, for instance). Thoughts?

    I have a ton of old backlinks for products that I no longer carry but I have redirected them to other pages within the site. I was told by an SEO expert that these links are hurting me rather than helping because people click on the links and then leave. These backlinks are from reputable blogs, news sources etc and my spam score is only 1%. Are these links really hurting me?

    Hi Guys, one question from my side: When I disavow domains in the Google link disavow tool, do I have to disavow every subdomain of a main domain.....for example; I want to disavow the following (sub)domains safsad.mydomain.com hapdasd.mydomain.com skdkada.mydomain.com Do I have to disavow every subdomain solely or does it suffice if I disavow "mydomain.com" and when done also every subdomain of this main domain is disavowed too?     I've been using white-hat article marketing to post original content about my niche to credible article directories (yes, I realize many of them were recently devalued). My question is: Is it a good or bad idea to have future articles link to older articles, as a way to increase the chances of having the older articles indexed, or increasing the amount of link juice they pass to my site (since they point to my site)? I get 2 links per article and was thinking of using 1 to point to a prior (related) article, and the other to point to my site.

    Hi All I am running a website, I have been using Moz since Feb 2021. Kindly go through these pics My question is why Moz is showing 2K plus backlinks while Google search console is showing just 1253 backlinks. Why fewer links in the google search console is less? How can I increase Google search console backlinks? Also, Moz is showing 90+ DA backlinks but those websites are not showing by the Google search console.     Hi, this questions have bugging me for a long time now; we check our website how is indexed on Google and we see that we have most of the backlinks for URL https://www.speedhub.eu , but 15% are linked to https://speedhub.eu , in the past we had our website for http requests redirected via 301 htaccess to  https://speedhub.eu without giving it importance, now we have it with www included. Bottom line questions: Is it important if your links are with www or without www, do you lose "link juice" by splitting your backlinks  via links with www or without www ? Does Google make a difference for domain positioning via this criteria ? Best regards,

    Hi All, I am a fairly new user of Moz Pro and so far so good! However, after identifying that my link metrics and domain authority have dropped behind my competitors I've started trying to acquire links quite aggressively. I'm currently finding bloggers on Socialix to write about my Firewood business in the UK and currently doing about 5 posts per week. However many are insisting upon including upon a disclaimer (e.g. "sponsored by Firewood Centre") and I had a few questions about best practices. Are the disclaimer rules different in the UK vs the US? There seems to be stricter policy in the US. In some cases I am providing free product, does this still mean that bloggers should include a disclaimer? The idea was to get original photography and proof of concept for the post. Is the non-follow link worthless? Again, another point argued by the bloggers. Is blogger outreach dead? Should I focus my efforts elsewhere? Please share your best link acquisition tips here! Thanks.

    HI Team and members We have website related to jobs in Pakistan and we purchased 5 niche edits backlinks to a specific page " MES Jobs 2021" In ahrefs it show only 2 backlinks to that page but in moz 0 backlinks but in actually there are 5 links. Why this happen in moz? We actually love this tool used for Keywords research for jobs in Pakistan find some cool keywords using moz but we facing backlinks issues in it.
