    I have created a lot of high DA backlinks for my website for 3 months. But the DA of my site is still less than 40 and it has not changed for 2 months. Why does my site DA stop increasing as I build huge backlinks? How and when Moz will update the DA score? Are there any other ways to increase DA? My site: CouponBirds

    In my latest site crawl, the domain authority dropped 10 points for no apparent reason. There have been no changes to the site.     Hi, I have launch a new website, lorraine on october of 2021 and I have added it to a bunch a local and national directories to improme it local rankings. But when I get the domain authority and link data from MOZ it has only ten links and no one of them is from local/national directories. I have three questions: Do you know if it is normal that after 9 months DA is 1? Is there any problem with local/national directory links? I dont like buy links like others do but it seems the only way to improve domain authority and rankings.

    I'm new to MOZ and thought I'd try it out free for 30 days, knuckle down and fix any issues with my website since I only set it up in January and want to keep it in tip top condition and try to get it ranking. Well, I made my way through each page and fixed everything and then I come to in the inbound links/domains and my eyes turn into saucers and I almost fall off my chair. I have 1 inbound link with a spam score of 78% from a site named "Nitter". How on earth do I get rid of this and what the heck is "Nitter"?!

    wordpress subdirectory domain authority

    Hi There, I'm working on a WordPress site that includes a premium content blog with approx 900 posts. As part of the project, those 900 posts and other membership functionality will be moved from the main site to another site built specifically for content/membership. Ideally, we want the existing posts to remain on the root domain to avoid a loss in link juice/domain authority. We initially began setting up a WordPress Multisite using the sub-directory option. This allows for the main site to be at www.website.com and the secondary site to be at www.website.com/secondary. Unfortunately, the themes and plugins we need for the platform do not play nicely with WordPress Multisite, so we started seeking a new solution, and, discovered that a second instance of WordPress can be installed in a subdirectory on the server. This would give us the same subdirectory structure while bypassing WordPress Multisite and instead, having two separate single-site installs. Do you foresee any issues with this WordPress subdirectory install? Does Google care/know these are two separate WordPress installs and do we risk losing any link juice/domain authority?

    link tracking list link explorer backlinks domain authority

    Hi there
    I want to share a big problem with you. Moz tracking list seems to be offline or having trouble finding links. I have an example:
    The page where the backlink has been placed was created months ago. As you can see on the picture:
    Link to the page is http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/profile/tableauxdumonde
    Backlink on that page is https://ggongtime.com/ Picture shows clearly that the page of backlink (Microsoft) has been indexed and already has got it's own backlinks in Moz (8) but it is still not linking to the backlink website (ggongtime.com).
    I've also attached a picture of page source where you can clearly see that it is a html link and is dofollow.
    The problem remains since 3 months and I want to find out what is going on. This Microsoft page is one of example. There are hundreds of other pages being found, or not, and are still not showing up in Link Explorer on website's portfolio.
    I want to know if there is a technical problem with link explorer, or anything else, because this is a serious problem for me. moz problem.png

It is not a Google ranking factor. Domain Authority scores range from one to 100, with higher scores corresponding to a greater likelihood of ranking. Since DA is based on machine learning calculations, your site's score will often fluctuate as more, fewer, or different data points become available and are incorporated into those calculations.     Ive been using link tracking list to add links for my website for 2 years now and it always worked the same Way - - > up to 1 week and the links were added to website's portfolio. The problem occurs since 2 months and links placed in link tracking list simply arent being added to website's portfolio. Are there any updates going on in background? Anyone knows something about this issue?

    Is it possible to get historical data of DA/SS through link explorer? what about the mozscape api?
    i have seen the "Metrics over time" page, but it only shows 1 year of data.
    There is a website which provides DA history for 2+ years but i'd like to use moz or it's api directly

    The company I work for recently started distributing press releases via PRNewswire. Our first press release had over 100 pickups. We included several links to our site in the release. It was published on credible sites like AP News and Yahoo Finance (these sites have DAs of 94). None of the links or mentions show up on our discovered links and it's been over a month. Our DA has not increased at all and it's only 18. Am I missing something? I would think with over 100 new links, we should've gained some traction. I've checked all sites for "no follow" markings and haven't found any so I don't think that's the issue. Please help!

    I purchased a domain few months back. At the time of registration, I didn't knew it was a domain that is previously used by someone. When I started adding content to my website, I realized its DA was already 9, after adding some content and sharing it on my social handles, I got a few links and my DA increased to 18, but since last week I am noticing a weird behavior in MozBar. Everyday I see a different DA, sometimes it gets better while sometimes its as low as 10. Can anyone check my site and see if there is something with my website or is it normal.
