Opensiteexplorer missing links
Hi There
I was just checking www.cellartours.com on opensiteexplorer and I noticed that it was missing a link from yahoo directory http://dir.yahoo.com/business_and_economy/shopping_and_services/travel_and_transportation/tour_operators/culinary/ sixth from the top. That's kinda big one to be missing, no?

How to handle rel canonical on secondary TLD's - multi regional sites.
I currently have a .com domain which I am think of duplicating the content on to another tld, CO.UK (and regionalize some aspects like contact numbers etc). From my research, it seems that in gwt you must then indicate which country you wish to target, in the co.uk case the UK. My question is how should I handle rel canonical in the duplicated site. should it rel canonical back to the .com or the co.uk? Any other pointers would also be appreciated.
Thx

RE: Can anyone explain these crazy SERPS?
he is cloaking - with 307 redirect for normal web browsing and displaying optimized content for search engine bots. seems totally setup for post xmas market.

RE: Panda Updates - robots.txt or noindex?
This is a good read. http://www.seomoz.org/blog/duplicate-content-in-a-post-panda-world I think you should be careful with robot.txt because blocking access to the bot will not cause them to remove the content from their index. They will simply include a message saying not quite sure what's on this page.. I would use noindex to clear out the index first before attempting robot.txt exclusion.

RE: Why does google not recognize inbound links from bbb.org?
What's nothing to do with google. It's an open site explorer issue. A simple check of the page source on bbb will determine if google will count it as a link.

RE: Internal Linking
Don't use nofollow as long as you are happy that the content to not duplicated else where. On the link anchor, I would try and be as informative as possible, so the visitor has some idea of what they will get when they click.

RE: Remove content that is indexed?
In the robots.txt disallow the directory http://www.robotstxt.org/

you might want to check your apache config. currently the above link is showing a directory list. I think you are missing index.html

RE: My keyword ranking suddenly went down in google.
There was a Panda Algorithm update at the start of November around the 5th. panda will penalize sites that duplicate content, are of low quality and supply a bad user experience. Load times would be attributed to user experience. I think your website probably ticks a few of these boxes. Your best bet is to research Googe Panda, and see if you can uncheck the boxes.

RE: Are on-page optimization tools becoming outdated?
I am beginning to think that these factors as outline my @Journeyman actualyl can get you some penalty points. And end up reducing your overall ranking.
I think it is as Matt Cutts and Rand have being saying for ages. Write content for people not machines.
