Webmaster tools is throwing up an error for this page http://www.itwasntmyfault.com.au/testimonial/sharon-m/
HTTP Error: 404 - When we tested a sample of the URLs from your Sitemap, we found that some URLs were not accessible to Googlebot due to an HTTP status error. All accessible URLs will still be submitted. The page is fine.... any advice? Thanks
i have hundreds/thousands of images on my site, but for some reason the images on this page - http://indigocarhire.co.uk/top-of-the-range-car-hire/ - are being flagged as attachment pages, meaning im getting errors for duplicate titles, missing metas ect
why are these images and only these ones being flagged up, they have been added in exactly the same way as every other image on the site
appreciate any advice
Thanks
yes the preview is down but it did affect traffic. one lesson learned for next time
just got this weeks MOZ report and it states that it have only crawled: Pages Crawled: 1 | Limit: 10,000
it was over 1000 a couple of weeks ago, we have moved servers recently but is there anything i have done wrong here?
thanks
will it just take time for the search engines to realise that the preview isnt there any more? will this cause me a problem with the search engines? We lost enough traffic with Pengiun
thanks for the advice, i check with the tool you mentioned and they all seem to be 301
We have moved our site from one host to another, in the process we set up a web preview on the new server to iron out any issues before we repointed the domain.
this preview indigocarhire.co.uk.gridhosted.co.uk has been ranked by google and is appearing in the search results. We deleted the preview and lost a lot of results within the SERPS, so i had no choice but to switch this back on.
The host then set up a redirect from the preview to the actual site which saw our results reappear but how can i rectify this problem properly. I am worried that I will be punished but the search engines unless i sort this out asap
Appreciate any feedback and i do realise that this is not a MOZ issue but not sure where else to turn
Thanks
Hi Christy
yes i think this issue is now sorted. ill double check the next time the MOZ report is run
