Hi
I am working on quite an old cms, and there are bunch of urls that don't make any sense.
https://www.trentfurniture.co.uk/products/all-outdoor-furniture/all-outdoor-furniture/1
https://www.trentfurniture.co.uk/products/all-chairs/all-chairs/1
https://www.trentfurniture.co.uk/products/all-industries/all-chairs/1
https://www.trentfurniture.co.uk/products/all-chairs/all-industries/1
https://www.trentfurniture.co.uk/products/all-chairs/banqueting-furniture/1
https://www.trentfurniture.co.uk/products/all-chairs/bar-furniture/1
https://www.trentfurniture.co.uk/products/all-chairs/bentwood-furniture/1
For example there are no internal links. And fortunately not much traffic at all. But I can't see in the cms why they are generating? I've tried to check the html code to check why, what's the reason? But all I can think of is the structure....? something odd the cms writes?
Anyone have any ideas please? And would I redirect all these? Just thinking there could be a better solution/fix, rather than redirects since there are no links or traffic.....Like the devs solve why they are generating.....Unfortunately I get very slow responses from the devs as a 3rd pty company, hence on here ;0). (Some of those are indexed too)... :0) Thanks in advance....

RE: API - Row Limit Question
Hi Ian,
Thanks for your response. Thats a pain! It would be nice to see this as a feature in the future. I'll tweak my app accordingly.
Cheers.

API - Row Limit Question
Hi,
I'm new to using Moz, and have just got a "Low volume" API account set up. My question is, because ive not yet reached my maximum "Rows per month" limit, what behaviour happens when i reach it?
Do i get an error code, if so what, and whats the status code. If not, does my account keep downloading the rows and i get charged extra (in accordance with the cost of the additional rows)? Or is the whole additional rows think like a bolt on?
Basically i want to make sure i dont get charged extra each month, and i need the status code returned to handled this in my app. I couldnt see anything explicit in the documents.
Cheers

60% Internal Redirects
A new client I am working with has a site with over 9,000 internal 301 redirects. These are as a result of old links not being updated and the number of internal 301 redirects far outweighs the number of 'correct' links on the site.
My personal opinion is that creates the risk of crawl errors/issues and whilst a 301 redirect is correct in this case, it does not negate the need to update internal links.
The problem I have is that when I explain this to the client, they reply with an Matt Cutts video from 2008 that talks about 301 redirects being correct for site migrations. Even though the video is not entirely relevant to the point, I can not get the client to move from his position.
Ideally, what I am looking for help with is the following:
- Am I right in my position that having this many redirects is a potential issue and that internal links should be updated?
- Does anyone know of any articles from 'notable/reputable' sources that I can use in order to support my position?
Thanks in advance for your help.

Looks like your connection to Moz was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
